~ Support Seán in his Healing Journey ~
Last week, Seán suddenly became very ill and was immediately hospitalized following a visit to the emergency room. Tests revealed a small bowel obstruction, and after days of treatment with no progress, Seán underwent surgery to correct the obstruction. The cause of the obstruction was an adhesion from a scar left from his appendectomy years ago.
Seán is now recovering in the hospital, slowly regaining strength after (finally!) being able to take in some nutrients again. He will go through some physical therapy in the next few days to regain movement as he starts to heal from a large incision wound. His recovery once he is released from the hospital, hopefully before the start of next week, will necessitate different accommodations that are better suited for wound management and healing.
We are asking for any financial support you may be able to offer Seán to help offset the unexpected expenses involved in his care and medical bills. Any amount is helpful and will assist him in navigating his healing journey with greater ease.
